Reddam House North Shore opened to all years from Kindergarten to Year 10 in January 2025. One additional year group will be added annually, up to Year 12.
Please visit the School Calendar section for 2026 Term Dates.
Primary School (Kindergarten to Year 6) 8:30-3:00. School drop-off is staggered depending on which cohort your child is in. There is a kiss-and-drop area in the car park accessed from Harnett Street, just off McLaren Street.
High School (Year 7 to Year 12) 8:50-3:30. Most high school students arrive at school on the bus or train, with Victoria Cross Metro and several bus stops a very short walk away.
For 2026 enrolment, applications are open for Kindergarten through to Year 11. From 2027 onwards, application reviews will occur 18-24 months in advance for intake years Kindergarten and Year 7. Applications for non-intake years are most welcome; however, once capacity is reached for that cohort, we can only consider applications when places become available. By 2027, Reddam House North Shore will have cohorts from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Before you start the application, please ensure that you have the following ready:
- Copy of the prospective student's birth certificate

- Non-residents must supply a copy of their Passport and VISA status
- A non-refundable application fee of $306 (inclusive of a 1.2% credit card fee).

Reddam House also requires that both parents/legal guardians confirm acceptance of enrolment in writing via our online form.
*Subject to the school receiving all the necessary regulatory approvals.

To transfer your child to Reddam House North Shore, you will need to contact the Principal of your current school, as well as the enrolments team, to discuss the desire to transfer. You should also inform the admissions team at Reddam House North Shore. A Student Transfer Form will then need to be completed, and both enrolment/admissions teams will assist you further.
In line with our Inspired Education Transfer Policy, priority is given to Inspired Education families pending availability in the relevant cohort.
Yes. If your child is currently enrolled at Reddam ELS St Leonards or Lindfield, your child’s application to Reddam House North Shore will be reviewed as a priority in the application process. You will still need to apply following the usual application process, and you will be able to input Reddam ELS under ‘current school’.
In reviewing applications, factors such as children of alumni or siblings of current students will be considered and prioritised; however, this does not guarantee an offer of enrolment. As per the application process, all applications will still be reviewed based on academic and co-curricular merit.
Yes. We have tours of the campus every Tuesday at 10 am during term time. You will need to book in for these tours, as they have limited availability for Primary and High school. Please ensure that you double-check the date and year that you are booking for so that you arrive at RHNS on the correct day. We are extremely booked up for all tours this year, although there are several dates in 2026 available. We advise that you book in for a tour as soon as you lodge your application to avoid disappointment.
Yes. Reddam House North Shore is an urban vertical school with AstroTurf open outdoor terraces, a rooftop with harbour views, and multi-functional spaces. The students can also go to our local parks with teacher supervision during lunch breaks and for after-school activities.
At the core of Reddam House North Shore’s ethos is a faculty of unparalleled calibre. Reddam teachers are carefully selected for their expertise, passion, and dedication to fostering a culture of excellence. They are the custodians of Reddam’s philosophy, guiding students with a vibrant and innovative approach to education that stands in vivid contrast to conventional methods.
At Reddam, Cycle Testing is our weekly assessment program in key subjects from Year 3 onwards. It encourages regular revision, strengthens knowledge, and helps students develop effective study habits that prepare them for future exams, including the HSC.
The results give teachers timely insights into student progress, allowing immediate support or extension where needed, rather than waiting for end-of-year results. Over time, this approach reduces exam anxiety and helps students identify the revision techniques that work best for them.
Our sports activities are held at a variety of excellent facilities across the North Shore area. We make use of different venues to ensure our students experience the best environments for each sport.
To help you get a clearer picture, we’ve included a map below highlighting the main venues where our sporting activities take place.

Academic scholarships are offered to students entering Years 7 to 11. Scholarships allow for partial or full remission of tuition fees throughout a student’s secondary education.
Academic scholarships are awarded on the performance of the Scholarship examinations and the information and documentation provided during the scholarship registration process. Scholarship examinations are held annually in March for entry into the following year, and registration opens in mid-January on our website. All scholarship offers are at the discretion of the principal. An external provider conducts all scholarship examinations.
Interest will dictate enrolment availability for 2026 and 2027. Review of future applications will take place two years in advance. Applications for non-intake years will be welcome; however, once capacity is reached for a cohort, we can only consider applications when places become available.
The review process will be multifaceted for Primary School applications, where application date, academic merit, and non-academic interests and achievements will be considered.
The review process will also be multi-faceted for high school applications, where academic merit and non-academic interests and achievements will be considered; however, the application date will not be considered. Following the review process, the principal will invite selected students for an interview, and if successful, a formal offer of enrolment will follow.
