Junior High School Curriculum


Our high school in North Shore, Sydney, follows a challenging syllabus that is accredited by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA). Pupils in Years 7 and 8 broaden their knowledge by exploring a range of core subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Design & Technology, Drama, Music, Visual Arts, Public Speaking, and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE).

For their first elective, students choose between French, Chinese and Hebrew in Year 7, and Chinese, Dance, Digital Media, French, Hebrew and Entrepreneurship in Year 8. For their second elective, both year groups choose between dance and physical education.

Our High School Curriculum 9 & 10
 

Senior High School Curriculum


Students in Years 9 and 10 study English, Science, History, Geography, Mathematics, PDHPE and Public Speaking, and two of the following electives: Commerce, Dance, Drama, French, Hebrew, Chinese, Computing Technology, Music and Visual Arts.

Pupils must take at least 12 units during Year 11 (the preliminary HSC year) and at least 10 during Year 12 (the HSC year), including two English units. We encourage our students to pursue subjects that align with their personal interests and aspirations. Compulsory career seminars and practical work experience prepare pupils for the next stage of their studies and life beyond Reddam House North Shore.
