The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, the overseas variation of the programme, is needed more than ever to bridge the gap between formal education and employment. By undertaking the Award programme and developing essential skills, such as communication, teamwork and leadership, young people build resilience and improve their readiness to contribute to society. Reddam is proud to offer the Award as it aligns with the School values of building independence, respect, perseverance and expressing their individuality.

The Gold Award is the highest level of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. It may count towards High School Leaving Certificates and increase award holders' chances of admission to Higher Education institutions. However, acceptance of award certificates is at the discretion of tertiary institutions.
